For twenty-two years, Alex has been working as an independent consultant in both the practical and theoretical sides of the field of peacebuilding and conflict transformation.

He has focused on the peace and conflict dynamics in the Afghanistan, India and Sri Lanka as well as organised crime and human trafficking and their inter-linkages to peace and conflict processes.

Alex was born in London, UK. After obtaining his degree in social anthropology and philosophy, he continued his studies with peace and conflict studies.
